The Economic Affairs sector is intended to cover broadly the following economic subsectors: General economic, commercial, and labor affairs; Agriculture, forestry, fishing, and hunting; Fuel and energy; Mining, manufacturing, and construction; Wholesale and retail trade; Transportation; Communications; Financial services; Professional services; and Other service industries not separately identified and covered within the remaining eight sectors covered by this LTSPFBA.

Dr. Brooks Robinson provides oversight for this sector.

“An Expanded Meta-Analysis of Black American (Afrodescendant) Plans”

Sis. Yaa Simpson of Chicago, IL assisted the LTSP Panel in examining several existing Black American plans before the LTSPFBA volume was finalized in 2023. This “Analysis Brief” reconsiders the LTSPFBA along with already examined and new Black American plans to identify plans most likely to produce Black America’s most favorable future.

Guidance for Black American (Afrodescendant) Business Formation/Development: I

Business enterprises reflect the nature of living organisms: Birth, growth, demise, and cycles (up and down turns). However, the evolution of technology has accelerated the pace of change confronted by businesses and their need to respond. H ence, the LTSPFBA IT, in collaboration with BlackEconomics.org, developed the above described guidance for Black American buiness formation and development. We invite you to read about it here.

One major expected benefit of LTSPFBA implementation is greater UMOJA (Unity) within Black America that will facilitate a more intensified practice of “Group Economics,” which promises to produce very favorable outcomes.
